Recycled PET Felt: The Material Behind EFEKT

Every EFEKT panel starts as a plastic bottle. Post-consumer PET plastic is collected, cleaned, shredded into fibers, and compressed into high-density felt sheets. No water. No adhesives. No chemical treatments.

The result is a material that performs acoustically as well as traditional acoustic foam — but looks, feels, and behaves completely differently. PET felt has a warm, tactile quality. It can be CNC-cut into complex geometries. It comes in over 50 colors. And it’s inherently fire retardant without added chemicals.

Sustainability isn’t a marketing story for us — it’s a material choice driven by performance. PET felt simply works better for what we do than any alternative.
